About Blooms and Broomsticks

I’m Michelle, the maker behind Blooms 

and Broomsticks® — crafting from my creative space near to our woodland. 

Every broom begins with birch prunings gathered from the trees in Kingswood, which I season for a full year before they’re ready to be shaped. From there, each piece is made slowly by hand in my home craft room, guided by the materials and the spirit of the woods.

I’ve been making besoms for over a decade, working with natural materials, simple tools, and a deep respect for the land. My craft is rooted in old ways and often forgotten values.

Alongside my seasonal collections, I also offer my signature brooms, available to buy all year round. These are joined by a small selection of decorated brooms and jumping brooms, each one ready to find its new home. Every piece is crafted individually, so no two are ever the same.

Across the year, I release three or four themed broom collections, created especially for white witches, pagans, and those who follow nature or mythical based paths. 

These collections draw on seasonal energies, certain colour themes, folklore, and woodland magic. Each broom is crafted as a one‑of‑a‑kind piece, with each handle being a gift from our trees and made in very small numbers.
